Importer Planning Guide

## Book Memorial Drawing and Inscription Guide

An open-book memorial depends on page proportion, center fold, page curvature, lettering area, and base interface. Small dimensional changes can alter both readability and the visual balance of the finished monument.

**Which book format is required?**

State open or closed book, left and right page sizes, center-spine depth, page-edge treatment, overall tilt, base dimensions, and any supporting ornament.

**How should inscriptions be divided?**

Provide separate proofs for each page, including names, dates, epitaphs, symbols, font, alignment, border, and the minimum clear margin around curved edges.

**What must the cemetery approve?**

Confirm the footprint, overall height, foundation, material, finish, ornament, and inscription method against the cemetery's current rules before production.

**How is the visual shape checked?**

Use a dimensioned front and side drawing, and request a rendering when the curvature or added carving cannot be understood clearly from the elevation alone.
