Granite Quarry & Stone Sourcing FAQ

What is the best granite for headstones and monuments?

Shanxi Black is one option for dark monuments and laser etching; confirm the current lot against the required color, finish, and etching sample. For European monuments, popular choices include India Absolute Black, Himalayan Blue, Bahama Blue, Emerald Pearl (Norway), Aurora (Finland), Imperial Red (India), and African Black (South Africa). The suitable granite depends on the market, cemetery specification, finish, inscription method, availability, and budget. Sample matching is available upon request.

How do you ensure consistent color across large monument orders?

We source blocks from the same quarry face and batch for each order. Before cutting, every block undergoes color inspection under both natural and artificial light. We maintain a reference sample library so returning customers can compare a new lot against the retained reference sample. For critical orders, we can provide pre-production block photos for your approval before cutting begins.

Can you source a specific granite variety that I need for my market?

Yes. If you have a reference sample or photo, we can match it after review using our established stone-supplier network and established stone-source relationships. We regularly source specialty stones including Blue Pearl (Norway), Emerald Pearl (Norway), Multicolor Red (India), Vizag Blue (India), Tropical Green (Brazil), and many more. Availability is confirmed after a sourcing review.

What is the price difference between buying from a factory with established stone supply relationships vs. a trading company?

Our Huian location and established stone-supplier network help us compare available materials for the approved specification. Prices are itemized by material, dimensions, finish, carving, quantity, packing, and order terms.

Do you offer free granite samples for evaluation?

One 15 × 15 cm stone colour and finish sample is provided free of charge; the buyer pays the international courier cost. Because natural stone varies, the current production lot is reviewed separately before production. Full-size approval pieces or finished monument samples are quoted separately when required.
