The MOQ is approximately half the loading volume of a 20-foot container. Exact piece count depends on dimensions, total weight, model mix and crate layout. Mixed models may be combined when the approved loading plan allows it; repeat orders are quoted from the new SKU list, current lot and available loading space.
A 30% deposit starts the order. After trial assembly and the pre-shipment photographs are approved, the remaining 70% is paid before shipment.
Production is typically about 30 days after the 30% deposit is received and drawings and stone/material details are approved. Complex custom orders are confirmed in the pro forma invoice; ocean transit is separate.
Yes. The sales and CAD teams can review dimensioned drawings, sketches, photographs, catalogue references, and written specifications. Production begins only after the buyer approves the drawing, materials, finishes, artwork, components, and commercial terms.
Inspection points can cover the granite and colour range, dimensions, visible surfaces, profiles, carving or lettering, component fit, piece marks, final photographs, and packing. The approved drawing, finish sample, and written specification remain the controlling references.
Frequently requested options include Shanxi Black and selected black, grey, red, and blue monument granites. Availability, commercial naming, colour range, finish, sample approval, and suitability for the approved design are confirmed for each quotation.
Monument components are separated and supported in export wooden crates according to their shape and weight. Internal protection, crate marks, wood-treatment requirements, container loading, insurance, and shipping documents are confirmed for the order and destination.
In North American trade use, monument is a broad industry term, headstone commonly describes an upright grave memorial, and marker often describes a lower flat, bevel, or slant form. Memorial is the broadest commemorative term. The dimensioned product drawing is more precise than any single label.
Both words are understood, but formal B2B enquiries more often identify the product as a monument, headstone, grave marker, memorial, flat marker, bevel marker, slant monument, or upright monument. Boda Stone can review an enquiry regardless of the synonym used.
One 15 × 15 cm stone colour and finish sample is free of charge; the buyer pays the international courier cost. The current production lot is reviewed separately because natural stone varies.
Both LCL and FCL shipments are accepted. FCL is usually considered when the order fills a container or when dedicated crate control and scheduling are useful. LCL can suit smaller or trial orders, subject to carrier acceptance, crate dimensions, consolidation and destination handling. Final mode, route, port, insurance and document scope are confirmed for each shipment.
The order-specific wholesale price is calculated from approved dimensions, total weight, granite type and current lot, design and processing complexity, finish, component set, export packing, LCL or FCL loading, destination port, and document scope. Send drawings or reference photos, dimensions, quantities, and destination for an accurate quotation.
Insurance scope and claims responsibility are agreed in the quotation and shipping documents. If damage is found, keep the crate, packing materials, seals and delivery records; photograph the outer packaging and each affected component before moving it, and notify the carrier, insurer and seller within the required time. The contract and policy determine eligibility and settlement.
Before production, the buyer or local cemetery/installer should confirm the allowed footprint, height, base, foundation, anchoring, lettering position and installation method. Boda Stone can work from those written requirements and an approved drawing; local rules vary and are not replaced by a supplier drawing.
The importer or appointed broker confirms customs, duties, VAT/GST, port and document requirements for the destination. The buyer and local cemetery or installer confirm site dimensions, foundation, anchoring and placement rules. Boda Stone prepares the drawing, packing and commercial documents within the agreed scope. Requirements vary by country, port, cemetery and order, so the pro forma invoice and local authority remain controlling.
