Workshop photos

How to read the images: A–D are photo groups for this one project, not four separate orders or four different quantities.

Customer requirement

The customer requested one memorial tombstone with a carved angel or religious figure integrated with the stone body, plus floral details. The visible design needed to read clearly from the front while retaining recognizable wings, facial features, hand position, garment folds and roses in close-up views.

Actual production challenge

The fragile points were the wing tips, fingers, rose petals, hair edges and projecting garment folds. These parts can be damaged by handling even when the main stone body remains intact. The project also required the carved figure and the memorial tablet to read as one balanced composition when viewed from the front and from the side.

How the workshop handled it

1 · Reference reviewThe workshop used the supplied design references and reviewed the composition from front, side, rear and detail angles.
2 · Detail carvingAttention was given to facial modelling, wing-feather rhythm, hands, flowers and garment transitions before final surface work.
3 · Multi-angle checkThe A–D photo groups were used to check the visible form beyond a single front view.
4 · Packing releaseFragile protruding details were identified as protection points before the one-piece order was packed on March 5, 2024.

Packing: the project record includes the packing date and the areas that needed protection. For a similar order, we will agree on the crate and protective materials after checking the dimensions and carving.
